Thought that title would get your attention
Hi guys, I am looking for some assistance. I am writing a brief essay on what I feel the similarities are between the SMART Recovery approach and working a 12 Step program. I have some main points, but I could use some help from those of you, far more experienced than I am with the 12-Step program. So, here’s the question, to be answered however you see fit. Other than not using, how would you describe the main ideas behind working the 12-steps? What are the most important parts of the program for you? I am looking for key ideas to be specific, “fellowship” being a good example. Thanks in advance for the assistance and I think we can all learn a lot from this. |
