Yesterday, all afternoon, we saw military choppers flying in very irregular patterns. At first we thought it was DEA because they've caught people planting wacky weed amongst the corn. Then we heard the news that George was going to be at the Harley Plant in York, PA. then a fund raiser for Lynn Swann.

We started watching the skies today around 1:30 expecting to see his chopper fly over and didn't. Around 6:15pm, the house started to shake and an entourage of 5 choppers flew over. Big suckers. And they were all the standard military type. No fancy schmancy chopper for George. It was earlier agreed that if they were low enough and close enough to the house we'd stand together and flip the bird. Of course, I was the one who ran outside and gave him the one finger salute. They chickened out.

Which brings me to the topic...wonder how much that cost us? He bitched because Clinton used Air Force I too many times during his terms as president, but it's okay for him to be flitting around the country (fund raising) with enough military back-up to end a small war.

I see a very paranoid person. Imagine life having to look over your shoulder all the time. So very sad.
