Nothing More Than A Miracle

As most of you know, and some of you don't that I have Hep C. This is a deadly disease. I must have gotten it years ago through a blood transfusion. The doctor said that it had to be anywhere from 20-30 years old when I was diagnosed.

I was on the interferon treatment in 2005 but I refused to take the Anti-D's that were in fact part of the treatment. Of course I thought that I could do the treatment without them only to find myself in the emergency room telling everyone that they were full of shit and that they didn't know me so how could they care for my welfare.

Well I got on the Anti-D's and started the treatment now 17 weeks ago. It wasn't easy, and it is a hard treatment on you physically and mentally without the Anti-D's. I went to the doctor and had my 3 month lab work done. Well the cut off is usually at a level of 799 which means it is in remission, however mine came back at less than 10. I called the Doctor and the nurse told me that this is something that usually doesn't happen. She said that since it is at a level of less than 10 then I am cured.

They want me to stay on the treatment for a little longer, and I have to do another blood test in 10 more days. They want to make sure that the results are right and that nothing was tested wrong. Even with the medication I have known many people who it hasn't worked for. I believe that yes you need medication, however I give the credit for this miracle to my HP. Just wanted to share and thanks for allowing me here.
