I think this was okay to do

This morning before leaving for work I opened a box I had stored in the
pantry looking for some hot glue sticks for a repair I needed to make.
I found them and I also found an envelope with pics in it from Christmas 2005,
the last Christmas John and I shared before his move in June 2006.
Not sure why they were in this particular box but there they were.
I looked at them and remembered that day as if it were yesterday.
I tucked the envelope in my purse and brought them with me to work.
After looking at them a few more times I decided that I would mail them to
John. 85% of the pics had his son or John in them so why not. John had
missed about 5 years out of his now 12 year old sons life when I met him, so I
am sure he is missing many pics. So when I went to the post office earlier
I mailed them off to him...just a post-it note saying, "Here are some pics
I thought you might like to have, hope you are well, take care."
