At least not in one little corner of the world.
A friend of mine just celebrated her twentieth anniversary with her husband. (You would never know that to look at her, she still looks about 18) Anyhoo...here is what he did for their special day... "He took the day off from work and took me on a "tour of our life." We went to the place we met, where we were married, all the places we lived, and ended up eating in the restaurant where we had our first date. At each stop he showed me a picture taken of us there and then he read something that he wrote about what he remembered. I was in tears all day. He kidded me about not being the romantic one in the relationship so he said he had to get mushy to make up for it." Can I have a collective "Awwwww" please? |
