Spring Is Here

Here we sit in a room with hope
Today again, I’m not doing dope…

I think about the Spring that has come
Just very Grateful today to be without Rum…

I took some time to plant some seed
For my yard it brings happiness to me…

I’ve been watering the seed so it doesn’t dry up
It’s like our soul, we have to maintain and grow it up…

Seeing the Sprouts that are turning into blades
The water eveaporates through the suns rays…

So you go back out to keep it wet
It’s like Recovery making sure that it is kept…

Kept up on the maintenance through out this time
Look around and to find harldly any clouds in the sky…

We are blessed to have this day today
We are blessed to be alive so we can even pray

We have to remember that it is surly a gift
And not a piece of wood that you would find adrift.

The peace that comes from just that blade of grass
Will help you to realize that this too will pass

So Keep your head up and your spirit alive
And than just maybe we won’t have to go on that vicious ride.
