I know someone mentioned this elsewhere but I have totally forgotten where. It struck me it would make an ace thread!
What parts of 'common sense' have truly informed recovery in it's loosest of senses - getting better? For me I think eating well, sleeping well, and noticing life's little pleasures have made all the difference. I know one weekend we were away and it was hard as hell for me - I didn't sleep well at all and by the end I couldn't think straight anymore, I could cry but not think clearly. Thankfully there was a part of me that KNEW some if not many of my emotions were coming from exhaustion, although I still felt each and every one, I knew it wasn't something I could figure out until I had slept. What common sense stuff has helped other folk here? |
