Birthday cake
I ordered my daughters birthday cake a week in advance. I go to the store to pick it up yesterday at 3:00, (it was to be ready at 2:00) and there was NO cake!! I was calm and polite. They said they would make something nice and I should come back. OK, the party starts in 2 hours.
I go back at 4:30 and they can't find the cake. "What does it look like?" I wanted to say, well earlier, it looked like NOTHING, because it wasn't done!! Instead I explained the situation (thinking that may clue her into the missing cake) Nope, not a clue!! OK, it's a 1/2 a sheet cake, 1/2 chocolate, 1/2 white, buttercream icing, 12 dancing princess theme, Happy Birthday ...!! Got any that comes close to that!?!?!?! I finally get the cake, which I was still charged full price for. I get home with people arriving at the house. Then I start wondering why I stopped drinking. Then I remember why!! LOL
