Reservations

For the longest time in seeking recovery I've always held onto Reservations. I did this even without knowing it. I seemed to always have a Ace that I would hold onto.

Today, I know in my heart, that I have laid my hand out, and thrown away all Aces that I had in the Hole.

It was a long time coming, yet the journey, was worth the Experiences that I've been able to live. Living the Experiences has given to me the last few months, a great deal of Understanding, a Great deal of Love for others and more than that a Love for myself Finally.

Though it was a tough road the early going, I wouldn't trade one of them days for what I have been able to get through staying Sober and Clean. I owe a lot to many of the Friends and Family that have stayed with me through my journey. I know that I couldn't have done it without each and everyone of them. The new friends are wonderful and the Old Friends are just as Wonderful.

Thanks For having those Reservations earlier in my search for Recovery, today I know that it was OK
