What are you grateful for today
I am so grateful I am alive today. Im grateful I have two arms, two legs, 10 fingers,10 toes. Im grateful I can see and taste and smell. When Im feeling sad and lonely I dont have to reach to far to be grateful for something.
There are so many things we take for grantide on a daily basis. Where would we be witout these things. Love,laughter,the feel of fresh air blowing in my hair. A song I hear that moves me to tears. Such wonderful things.

Attitude with gratitude.

i am grateful for my whiney old cat (Peaches) even tho she drives me crazy sometimes - she is good company and lets me know i am not alone! poor old thing is 19 years old and her eyes are a bit foggy as you can see.

I am grateful to be sober today. I am grateful to have a kind, loving husband who supports me 100% today. I'm grateful to have two beautiful, healthy, happy kids who love their new mom (their sober mom that is).

Oh, and my son, who comes down every morning and greets me with "What's up my home skillet?' and then proceeds to give me a huge hug. Doesn't get much better than that.

I am extremely grateful that my daughter is clean, sober and safe.
Most of all, I am grateful for life. Life is beautiful. Sometimes it is hard to choose one thing, because I am blessed with so many things.

My air conditioners are high on my list today though It is going to hit 90 Monday. I will be inside, cool and happy!

I am grateful that the weather is beautiful and I had the physical and mental ability to work in my garden for several hours today. I am grateful that my youngest daughter painted pots on the sidewalk and planted flowers in her artistic creations and beamed with pride when she showed them to me. I am grateful that I have gone another day without a drink. I am grateful that even though the voices in my head that rationalize my need for a drink and encourage me to indulge....are softer than usual and easier to ignore. I am grateful that I found this website and the people here....grateful that I am not so alone with addiction. Cheers to all - I hope you all feel as blessed as I do today.
