Just got back from the GYN. I've been on BCP for 3 months, and it didn't shrink the cyst on my ovary, and it didn't stop the pain. All it really did was make me fat!! Dr. said she could do a scope and remove the ovary, but she doesn't want to. Nope, I want nothing to do with menopause thank you.

We are going with pain pills. She asked if I wanted a narcotic. Nope, don't want anything addictive, just something that will help me walk so I can work.

We went with Ponstel. If that doesn't work we'll switch to Tordal. So, this is my life, I can accept that, and live with it.

LOL As pain shot down my crotch!! Sheesh!!

Oh well, maybe now that I'm off the pill again, I'll lose this weight. I swear, I look like I'm 5 months pregnant!!

Me too, but the only excuse I have is that i REALLY like ice cream

I went to get my pain pills and they wanted $45 for 20 pills. Didn't get them. I checked with the pharmacist about the Trodal. It is better covered by my insurance. I'll call the Dr tomorrow to see if she will order that instead.

ouch, honey! i know how bad that must hurt! to be honest, i think that alternative pain meds work much better than narcotics.....narcotics just make you not care that you are in pain........trust me, i took them for a long time.......i had chronic pain, too....(headaches)
