OMG!!!
HEALTH NEWS BYTE Tuesday, September 12, 2006 The days when underage teens would have to wait outside a liquor store and attempt to bribe adult customers for alcohol may be over. According to a new national survey, a small but increasing number of teens are finding easy access to alcoholic beverages online. The study, conducted by the market research firm Teenage Research Unlimited, estimated that over 550,000 teens nationwide reported having personally purchased alcohol on the internet. An additional 3.1 million teens had a friend use the internet to buy liquor for them. In the past year, 20 states have passed laws making it easier for vendors to market and sell alcohol online.
