Happy fourth! I almost went in to Portland to see the fireworks on the Willamette (I remember them being really lovely), but then I scheduled a training session and also my little cat might freak out if people let off fireworks tomorrow. I've only heard a very few tonight, so I am hopeful that I"ll be wrong. Anyway, I am clearly a crazy cat lady as I have let Lady M trump fireworks, which I love.

Happy 4th. My dog...all 80 lbs of her...tried to get under my bed last night. lol Not a good fit. Poor thing. Big city fireworks are beautiful. Side street crackers....I hate em. Worthless and dangerous.

Today was not a good day. My mother got so drunk it was embarrassing and very annoying. That used to be my job. The 4th was always a huge drunk for me. Not anymore. I took my last drink on the 4th years ago. Watching my mother, made me grateful that it wasn't me in that state because it always used to be. I swear, I've gotten where I hate alcohol. When over done, it creates so many problems. Today, I'm thankful to be sober over the 4th.

Muse....be proud of yourself!
I opted out of two barbie q's because of the drinking. I would have had a drink and felt like crap the next day. Just two does it for me and I would have wasted yesterday and today. So instead I finished painting my last bedroom. Now I get to go shopping instead of having a headache and queasy tummy.
