Countdown is over!!!!

YES COUNTDOWN IS OVER

Shania has arrived. We are home and she is safe and sound. No pics tonight, although Lora did get a few of Chy and I roflmao.

Shania came out of her air kennel with her tail waving which is really good. Made herself at home spread over the whole back seat and SLEPT all the way home, lmao.

Tail was tucked, of course, when she was introduced to her new brothers and sister. She has been all over the house checking everything, has made sure that is her crate up, been in and out of it several times, has been all over the yard and roflmao has taken over the couch! Tail is once again up and waving like a flag. She has found the water sources. Is not spooked at all.

Now to her mom (me, lol). We were at cargo in plenty of time, they knew we were waiting. They let me know when the plane touched down and then the delay until it got to the terminal, and then when the young fellow came driving in with the carts with the freight on them, no Air Kennel. Well, I could feel the anger, fear, and terror rising, had a hell of a time keeping it in control. But the head guy immediately got on the phone, found where she was, and sent a guy for her right away.

By the time they got the crate to the end of the loading dock for me, I was calmed back down as I did not want her to sense me being upset and Belgian's are very sensitive. She is fine, doing much better than I expected.

Lora commented to me on the drive home that she could see how I had had to struggle to keep the anger from exploding and me tearing the cargo area apart. I haven't felt that in quite a while, the last time was when my miniature poodle (who has been at the Rainbow Bridge now for 3 1/2 years) was harmed by a neighbor's dog. I share this to let you know that I still have a ways to go. I am still growing and changing. I have to remember "progress not perfection."

My furbabies ARE MY CHILDREN, and if they are in danger, I get like a Mama Lion, lol. I have to say Shania got through this much calmer than I did. roflmao.

Anyway, her new life now begins!!!!!
