Default NH Laws

I am going to see if I can find the article online that I read over the weekend in our newspaper. NH is hoping to sign into law soon that we stop sending our drug offenders to prison and offer more in the way of help, be it with mental health services or just recovery in general. 70 percent of the population in our Women's Prison here IS due to drug offenses. It is about time that they look AT this.

Also, they are saying instead of taking the ones that re-offend and send them back to finish out their sentences to the MAX ordered by the court, that they only go back for 90 days. It was quite an interesting article.....

Saw daughter this weekend. It went well. I cannot believe how fast the time is ticking away. And as always had my sweet grandson overnight. That really is the BEST thing that I do with my time

I happen to think and always have that although consequences ARE important we need more than to lock our drug addicts up where they do not get the help that they need.
