Recovery 2 Day
Hey Ya'll,
I hope you are doing well. I wanted to list a book (three of them actually) that you may have seen starting to showing up in "recovery circles" . They are called Recovery 2 Day and can be read on line for free. One is called the North Pass Edition, it offers a secular based recovery method that relies solely in the medical methods of CBT and meditation, based on the APA DSM IV criterion of either substance abuse (misuse) or substance dependence, which most call "addiction." The second edition, the South Pass, uses the same medical methods and incorporate personal "faith" or spiritual beliefs into the cognitive methods taught in R2D. the combined edition was created for Treatment professionals so they can offer either method to their clients. check it out, its free.
