You know, I understand that things happen when they are supposed to happen and for a reason. I get that.

Today I went to my daughter's hearing. She was supposed to be released on bail supervision to my care, with the ankle bracelet, drug testing and other strict imposed rules which were fine. Then the snags appear. The Mass. Judge ordered her into Turning Point which is the rehab across the street from the County Jail where she is being held. She cannot GO into the rehab until after she has been sentenced in Superior Court and we don't even have a date for that. She cannot do the Bail supervision deal because the judge ordered her into rehab..SO she is in limbo for sure.

Let's call this lady "J" who is the Corrections Intake Coordinator is trying to contact my daughter's Public Defender to get something changed so that my daughter can get into the drug program. She says it IS excellent and that she is so proud of our county's attitude. Our county feels that addiction create criminal activity. They do not view the addict as the common criminal and they are ALL about rehabilitation.

Now..Hope is taking a deep sigh. I know things are unfolding just as they are supposed to. I did get that hug and kiss in court today, and my daughter has gained about 20 pounds. She looks good.

I will go to bed tonight and give thanks to her being safe, alive and clean. It was just a looooooooooong day, and I really miss my daughter..
