How trivial it all must seem.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm sure the stuff I post sounds silly, or trivial to a newbie or someone that is struggling with a loved one's addiction. I do realize this as I am typing my threads and there is a real purpose to it, believe it or not. Once upon I time when I was a newbie hurting and in the thick of it I thought I would never be free of those feelings. Of that pain. After a lot and I mean a lot of work and effort I am now on the other side of it. I still have my moments, as my posts do point out, but they are so manageable now. Unlike the early days, when I thought I wouldn't make it to the next minute. I read all of your posts and they are a constant reminder of where I was and could end up again. if I stray off my recovery path even a little. I thank you for keeping me where I am now. Keep in mind that if you work your program, your path, there is always light at the end of the tunnel...not smooth sailing everyday... but there is light.
