29th Verse of theTao

Living By Natural Law

Do you think you can take over the universe and improve it?

I do not believe it can be done.

Everything under heaven is a sacred vessel and cannot be controlled.

Trying to control leads to ruin.

Trying to grasp, we lose.

Allow your life to unfold naturally.

Know that it too is a vessel of perfection.

Just as you breath in and breath out,

there is a time for being ahead

and a time for being behind;

a time for being in motion,

and a time for being at rest;

a time for being vigorous

and a time for being exhausted;

a time for being safe

and a time for being in danger.

To the sage

all of life is a movement toward perfection,

so what need has he

for the excessive, the extravagant, or the extreme?

Practical: Find a place where control is all-consuming and relinquish it today. Stifle your inclincation to interfere, reminding yourself as you do so that there's a time for everything and you're becoming more adept at observing peacefully rather than taking over.

Love to you Chy, I am thinking of you... Hope, we are kindred, you know that.

Love is never lost. If not reciprocated, it will flow back and soften and purify the heart.
~Washington Irving

I love this quote! This is so sweet, genuine and if you think about it, so true. Love is energy, and energy never dissipates--it's always there, always around you, always ready...

Remember that you are an actor in a play and the playwright chooses the manner of it...your business is to act the character that is given you and act it well; the choice of the cast is another's…

Feeling Alone – Your Identity

There are some common mistakes we make when trying to cope with feeling alone. In an attempt to escape from our loneliness we watch more movies (alone) or work longer hours. Some people rely on a pet, a hobby, or self-help books to fill the void. Each avenue offers only temporary hope for a brighter future. Eventually feeling alone seems part of our identity. Unknowingly, we isolate ourselves further from that one perfect relationship.

Never confuse feeling alone with being alone. The two are at opposite ends of the emotional spectrum. One drains our resources; one multiplies our resources:

Feeling Alone (Abandonment) Being Alone (Solitude)
Leaves us empty and unfulfilled Brings us fulfillment through inspiration
Aggravates our internalized stress Provides us freedom from distractions
Feeds on our despair and self-doubt Nourishes our body, mind, and spirit

I enjoy being alone, but I have felt the pain of feeling alone all too often. Today, try "being alone" and nourish your body, mind and soul...even if just for a small amount of time....do this as a kind gesture to yourself...

“It is great wisdom to know how to be silent and to look at neither the remarks, nor the deeds, nor the lives of others.” ~St. John of the Cross

--what others think of me is none of my business....and; mind my own business, not others. I have often stuck my nose where it didn't belong...but now, I catch myself most of the time but then there are times when I just can't help myself and end up making amends for my behavior. The essence of this is: we make mistakes, we make amends, we gain wisdom.

"Did you know your blessing is on the way?"

Everything changes – nothing stays the same.

The universe is revolving – don’t sleep

Be strong – deliverance is coming – it won’t be long

The heaviness is simply the calm before the storm..

A storm that’s replaced with the still waters of peace.

You’re being set-up to be blessed

Hold on and keep repeating these words...

This too shall pass!

((((Gi)))))you're welcome!

Author Thomas Carlyle tells how, when he was a boy, a beggar came to the door. His parents were out and he was alone in the house. On a boyish impulse, he broke into his own savings bank and gave the beggar all that was in it, and he tells us that never before or since did he know such sheer happiness as came to him in that moment. There is indeed joy in giving.

Try this lesson in giving. Look at something you 'own' that you really like, really enjoy; think about how it could give someone else joy. Give it to someone who needs it or who has admired it. It will so lighten your heart and you will feel more joy in sharing than you ever felt holding onto it for your own....try it...

This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.

The four hardest tasks on earth are neither physical nor intellectual feats, but spiritual ones:
To return love for hate;
to include the excluded;
to forgive without apology,
and to be able to say 'I was wrong.'

Author Unknown

Good thing to copy and hang where I can see....because, you know sometimes, I forget how to act how I was meant to..

To be able to say I was wrong...

Oh ((Wolfie))) When I was finally able to do that, say that I was wrong it was freeing, and it also to me meant that I really had grown in a way that I wanted to and that I was VERY proud of.

Thank you again my dear one
