Vibes out to you, Nagain and hope that you guys are buttoned up and braced. They sure as heck are making a big deal out of this potential hurricane.
Yes, I've got a trip to Kid # 1 end of Sept. for her 21'st b'day (where did those years go)?, and parents w/e to kid # 2 in October, if we can get a hotel room (leave peeping time). Kind of funny that I don't want to let them know how much I miss them and I'm getting better with the "letting go". It's getting over the first's that I have a difficulty with. This will be first weekend, but in another few days I'll be fine. Once biz picks up (oh please, please), things always get better for me too !!! My kids watched those heinous, ugly, pathetic, trashy housewife women. I watched one show and never saw anything quite as vile (except maybe wrestling). Now, I will admit it did take my mind off of my own issues, but, I'll stick to Mad Men instead. One of my kid's friends interned for our Gov. this past summer. The administration hates, hates, hates these NJ shows. Many here are embarrassed and ashamed that those vile creatures (including the cretinous young adults in the shore house) are shown to the rest of the world as a representation of real women in our state. I know some very successful, dynamic and intelligent women and they are not like this one bit. Of course, up at kid's school in the mountains they think we are all employed by organized crime. No, we don't all work for the state !!! Anyway, chucking out vibes to all. Snow, are you in the path of this hurricane menace ???? ((((((Oneders/Villagers))))) Love to all, Vicki |
