I actually used buckets of witch hazel (which has a really small alcohol content but you get some cooling relief and drying out with it topically)... I had that happen one time, and the durn doc that prescribed it didn't know what to do, had to send me to another doc. No creams or petrolium products... nothing to keep the rash wet. Luke water to hot... with shampoo (it is ph balanced) but use white... no dyes for best results... then have your honey wipe you down with witch hazel... it will dry the places up a bit and not too quickly so that your derma can heal properly.
Of course anything open is a port for virus and bacteria... so protect your immune system and wash your hands a lot, keep em away from your eyes, nose and mouth and don't for God's sake pick anything... as things clear up, you can take care of any dry skin by using a good lotion. You're one tough guy, you should heal fairly quickly. Vicki.... you are not a bad mom, you are putting two girls through college and you are not a Pez dispenser for cashola. She can wait or earn some extra bucks and handle it herself... you made me laugh when you talked about the UK and the traffic circles. Mike... other than Cape May... I flew into Newark once... ew. THAT was scarey. That's all I know about Jersey.
