May I bubble please....

I am just bubbling today. First I got good news from my doctor. Second, I treated myself to something really pretty (lacey) and I also treated myself to some perfect cotton new pj's...the really comfy feminine kind.

Next I bought double of everything for supper. I prepared everything for my grandson so when his daddy picked him up today, everything was ready to take home and cook. The hamburg is ready for the grill...the corn is husked, fresh tomatoes from the garden are in the **** and a big package of chocolate bars. That felt SO nice to do. Mr. Hope's supper is cooking and I am just waiting on my best friend to get home. Grandson just left.

We played many games of ball and we laughed our heads off. We really did.

The owner of our building came by to do some landscaping and I even made him lunch. We had a bit of nice conversation about my mom and life too.

This is a healthy "giving" example. Something you do, from your heart...NO strings attached. It is the giving we speak of in recovery. Everyone gets something today. I just found for some reason I had a lot of extra love to dish out. So I did.

Grandson will be back tomorrow. I am telling you, that child has the best spirit...the best. He leaves you with no choice. Spend time with him? You are energized in a special way. And no matter how tired I may be at the end of some days? I welcome this child into my life. He can bring his sunshine here anytime...
