Prayer works well for ME. Certainly if I am praying for another person I ask that they find strength or peace or the will to go forth. I like doing that. Once I pray I let go. It is out of my hands.
I have no business with the results. And because something does not appear to be answered, it can in fact BE answered. For example: Some may pray that a person gets the job that they so badly want. I may pray that they do, but I don't use those words as in "get the person the job." If the person does not get the job, a prayer may still be answered. Maybe that person is not supposed to be in that building that later blew up. Again just for me personally, prayer helps. I find so much calming in the process of prayer. I live "in prayer". Meaning daily I try to live with good thoughts about life in general, not just for me but for others. As it is that peace and calm I want us all to find. So .if I pray for someone and something does not appear as maybe I asked in my prayers I would still feel that my prayers were heard. The outcome is not anything that has my imprint on it. I think it is bigger than that. I say this with total respect for everyone's beliefs. I just wanted to share some of my personal thoughts
