Default Quick Self Assessment Tool for Perspectives

bumped into something I wanted to share...

I found last week an exercise to use so that we can recognize the toll taken on our physical, mental/emotional, and spiritual well being. It is a quick self assessment to help evaluate.

Directions: Reflect for several moments on the following opposites. Try to identify where you feel you are on each continuum. You may find it helpful to mark that spot along the dotted line.

Despair .................................................. ................... Hope

Lonely .................................................. .................... Connected

Dread/Fear .................................................. .............. Courage

Meaningless .................................................. ............. Meaningful

Guilt/Shame .................................................. ............. Grace

Helpless .................................................. .................. Empowered

Broken .................................................. .................... Whole


One or more markings on the left si.e of the continuum may suggest you are in a place along your journey where support may be beneficial. Acknowledge, make a plan, and seek to take the actions necessary to address self defeating areas to restore balance, alleviate stress, and restore perspective.
