Greetings,
Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated. I'm still alive and kicking, just not around much. I'm no Rockette either!! I'm on the road.....again. It's that time of year when so many of us in the northern hemisphere are experiencing the dark days of the upcoming winter. There are days when turning into a bear and hibernating sounds very attractive. A few things have helped - like exercise, taking vitamins, keeping a regular schedule, taking my meds for bipolar. I also work on my recovery each day even though I'm coming up on 7 years. Anyway, I'm here. Travelling and time changes are always a challenge. Yesterday was a day of travel so I'm out of sorts today. There was one fun thing that happened yesterday. I discovered the 1939 version of "The Women" on youtube. The 2008 version pales by comparison. My mother and I used to have "nights of beauty" when we would give each other facials, etc and watch an old movie. "The Women" was a favorite. If you ladies (and men, too) would like to have some fun on these long winter nights, give yourself a facial, eat popcorn and watch "The Women". Allie
