Tracey........
Tracey...
I read your last post in Missy's Life thread. Sounds like you need all of us right now. It is a crazy merry-go-round until you decide to step off. Getting sober is not easy and the changes you go through, getting sober, are so hard. Don't forget that it effects everyone around you, also. They have to adjust to the new you. It takes time for them, also. They also need to step off the merry-go-round. If you're the only one getting off, then they're stuck in the crazy cycle of "everything is ok, now". Your husband needs just as much counseling and meetings as you do. Alanon, or books, or this Village. My daughter is an addict. I read the NA book everyday. If I wouldn't have reached out for help, for me, I wouldn't be any good to her. Start reading these Tavern threads. Try to get your husband involved in your recovery. I wish you the best honey. It's gonna be a long bumpy ride, but YOU CAN DO IT!
