And so it begins....
My explorer is a 2003.....
Yesterday the electric window on the drivers side was sluggish going up.... and down.....so I decided to keep it up and leave it alone... just then I look at the panel on the door handle, I faintly see grey smoke coming from the button...Not Good. I took it to my mechanic this morning...he just called $305 to repair it. A new switch, rebuilt motor and something else can't recall cause all I kept hearing in my head was $305!!! So now I suppose I can expect things to start happening.... Isn't it around year 4 that stuff starts to act up on a car? Ok guess what as I am typing this the mechanic called back I only needed a switch, the motor was fine and the other thing which turned out to be a regulator was fine...so my total bill for the day $198.00!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!! Hey $107 is $107 saved!!!!  Where is Gwen when I need her???? LOL
