Default Sure glad I stopped drinking.

You know, I've been through a lot in the last 10 months...major things in my life. I think I've handled them pretty well.

It's those little things that seem to be harder for me to handle. Not that I can't handle them, but it can take some extra work.

Like today, I go into the water department to tell them I filled my pool so I can sign a paper and not be charged sewage on top of the water. The lady sitting at the desk throws this huge fit. She's like "You are suppose to tell us before you fill the pool." Ok, I'm sorry. Then she starts raising her voice and throwing her hands in the air. "Well I'll do it this time, but don't expect me to do it next year. In fact, I hope we don't even do this next year. It's too big of a hassle to figure out."

That's when I looked at her name tag and politely said, "And your name's Joyce" as I wrote it down and stuck it in my purse!! She started to calm down after that.

Let's just say there were SEVERAL things I want to do and say. My first thought was to bitch slap her. I don't talk to any of the people I work with or for like that. I worked really hard not to say...Put the book down you were reading and do the math!! But all I said after taking down her name was, "I'd think 12,500 gallons of water would be noticable."

I signed the paper, smiled, and thanked her. Wished I knew which car was hers so I could slash her tires...but didn't. My uncle works for the water department, so I have a call into him to see what her deal is!!
